Radial Arm Saws

Radial Arm Saws not only can cut timber but can be used for cutting acrylic, aluminium, partical board and fibro cement product.

The history of Radial Arm Saws

The original Radial Arm Saw was designed and built by Raymond Dewalt in the USA. The first model was built around straight cross cutting. Not long after they found a way to do angles and compound angles.

As the demand for this style of machine grew so did the size of the cutting capability. This resulted in saw blades up to 900mm in diameter.

Gregory Machinery has sold many brands from the Sawmaster and Dewalt through to the Maggi, which we still sell today.

There is still a large market for these units in all manufacturing processes and also in the DIY market.
